Young & Free St. Louis, powered by Vantage Credit Union, is an ongoing effort to give the 18-to-25 crowd a voice, a head start and useful information

GIVING YOUNG PEOPLE A VOICE

We launched Young & Free because we felt strongly that young people were not being well served by other financial institutions. Young people in St. Louis didn't have a voice when it came to getting what they needed financially. So we launched a search for a Spokesperson and gave that person a platform: the Young & Free St. Louis website.

Jenn Cloud is our current Young & Free St. Louis Spokesperson and her full-time job includes traveling to, attending and speaking at events throughout St. Louis and posting daily blog entries and weekly video blogs on the Young & Free St. Louis website. Jenn is here to listen to you, and to get your thoughts and opinions about what you need from your financial institution.

The ultimate goal of Young & Free St. Louis is to help Vantage Credit Union connect with young people and to help us really understand how we can serve the 25-and-under St. Louis crowd better than any other financial institution.

If you’re between 18 and 25 years old and qualify for membership at Vantage Credit Union, you qualify for Not Your Mama’s Account! Fill out the simple account request form and we’ll contact you to get you set up. Or, you can visit any of our branch locations to open your account.

So many banking sites tell young people what they should be doing. At Vantage we want to hear from you! Tell us what kind of products and services you want, and feel free to ask us questions and tell us your concerns. The Young & Free St. Louis Spokesperson has a platform to answer questions and concerns. Meanwhile, Vantage Credit Union is always there in the background, listening and responding, making sure the products we offer match your real needs.
